In short, it is an unexplained phenomeon. Is a treatment which is designed to have no therapeutic value. But miracously make people feel better. Placebo effect is a term to talk about the way healing by the trust and belive of patients. First appeared in the Medical Dictionary in 1785. In the fact, the word "Placebo " is mean " I shall please "in Latin, to tell the way , that placebo please the patients.The doctors will give the patient the placebo, such as the sugar have a shape like medicine, water, even fake surgeries.

Knowlying give people a placebo is an avaible treatment. But it is a complex issue. And placebo can use like the tool to test new medicine in the trial. To check the effect of the new medicine ( drug ).

In 1996, 56 volunters took a part in a study, to test the new painkiller called Trivaricaine. Then each volunter , one index finger covered in the new painkiller , the other finger of the other hand not. Then, both were squeezed by pliers. The reported that the treated finger hurt by the fake painkiller hurt less than untreated one. The fact, the new painkiller they called Trivaricaine was just a mixture with no part painkiller at all. But why the volunters sure there finger covered by the fake painkiller are less hurt than the uncovered one. This is how placebo effect work. The doctors have used term placebo effect since 1700s, when they realized the fake drugs to help the patients get better. They are used when the real medicine and proper drugs weren''t availble or if someone imagine they werre ill. By the 1950s , the research and study used placebo effect like a tool to test new treatment. The half patients in the research recived the real pill. And the other half patient recived the placebo that looked the same.To fair the test, no one in the patients knowed the different, and what type of pill ( between the placebo and real pill).

We know the benefit of the placebo. By the placebo effect, patients felt better after a variety of sicks ( conditions), including : Heart problem ; asthma; severe pain. The researchs think if the patients think the fake traeatment that they recieved are real, then the desire effect on phsychologial factors, that help improve symptons. Placebo helps produce the pain-relieving subtances , like endorphins. Placebos seem like it can effect by the strong way with the change in blood plessure, heart rate. That explains why in pain studies the reports say placebo relive the patients discomfortable.

Today, rarely people use placebo, because they worry about the medical value of the placebo and problem of morality. If the placebo can't effect them, the problem ( sick ) can be worst. And somebody believe , because some reason, the patients, whom recived the placebo pretend they are fine. And placebos can cause unwanted side effects. Nausea (the feeling of being sick to your stomach),tired and allergy reactions, such as skin rashes ( can be red, inflamed, bumpy as well as dry, itchy ( ngứa ) or painful), have been reported as negative placebo effects. If somebody belive the fake treatment has cure them, they may missed out and not used the real pill or the treatments ( that are proven to work and have the product). In the fact, the positive effect of the placebo will fade with the time. And then the negative effect will comeback with the patients, who are missed out. You can watch this video to learn more :
