Dear my cutest nieces,
It's been almost 2 years that you haven't seen your mom and you are just about to turn 5 this year. Every now and then, I wonder whether you're aware of what happened to your small family, the reason why your father and mother are no longer together.

Last night, I watched a short video of a small girl, just around your age, and she talked about her family in tears with pain and sadness in her eyes, that when she was asked "where are you parents? why do they not pick you up?", and the answer was heart-breaking, "my parents were divorced". I cannot resist but cry and think of you two.
Time flies and you're going to grow up soon to be asked like the girl I mentioned above. Family is like a shelter for each of us from the hustle and bustle of life, where our beloved ones are always and truly forgive your mistakes, embrace you in their warmest arms, with grateful hearts and cheer with your in any of your very moment.
Just remember, home is where the heart is. Our family is where your grandparents, your father, and I would never stop loving you.
Just remember, being apart is hard and painful but it doesn't mean you are left or abandoned. Being apart teaches us how to be together and that you will learn to love the people around you. As you would never know when it is the last time.
I truly hope and believe you’ll grow up and be grateful people, to love yourselves and live your one-and-only life to the fullest and deserve others’ love and care.
Love you both.
