History of telescope

In 1608: In Netherlands, an eyewear manufacturer, name is Hans Lippershey has invented the first refracting telescope. However, he didn't have any invented certificate, but the news of the first telescope has spreaded to every place in Europe. This first telescope has an easy schematic, with the convex lens at the top of a hollow stick and concave ocular at the bottom of a hollow stick.

In 1668: Isaac Newton has invented reflecting telescope, the ideas about a plane mirror and cut this mirror like a cross to reflect the light.

In 1943: Palomar - First astronomical observatory
In 1968: The USA launched OAO-2 - first space telescope to space
In 1971: Soviet Union launched The UV space telescope.
In 1990: The USA launched Hubble space telescope on STS-31 of Discovery - space shuttle.
In 2022: The USA launched James Webb super space telescope.

How it works?

The telescope has so many types of it. So I will tell small part in Part "How it Works"
The refracting telescope works by using a convex lens and concave ocular to create image. The light go into lens then go into ocular to zoom bigger the image of object.

The reflecting telescope works by using one or more reflector to create image. It also has schematic with the lens on top, but it has more mirorr. The reflecting telescope has some good things like:
-avoid the dispersion
-if you upgrade the mirror for bigger, the magnification will bigger.
