To be honest, if someone had told me back then that I’d be dating an incredible soldier like you, I wouldn’t have believed it. You’re everything I never expected but everything I could have ever wanted. Strong, brave, kind, and fiercely dedicated to what you do—it felt almost impossible that someone like you would choose someone like me.

But you did, and my life hasn’t been the same since. From the moment we started talking, you brought something into my life that I didn’t even know was missing. You’ve shown me strength in ways I never understood before, not just in how you face your career but in how you carry yourself, how you care for others, and how you’ve opened up your heart to me, even when it wasn’t easy.
